It's bad enough as it is that bloggers go hungry for the sake of keeping their readers informed. We rely on you to help us cover our hosting fees each month from the clickable pennies we earn from Adsense. Must you add insult to injury by serving up ads on my blog that give my readers the impression that I am pimping mail order brides from Asia? I have a reputation to protect here. Geez.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get to work on a new post on finding love in Chinese KTV bars because apparently whenever these type of ads are served up, I am a few cents closer to buying a new fake gucci bag this month in Shanghai.

Shanghaiist posted this recent clip from Laura Ling of Current TV covering China's booming sex industry. Really sad reality about China that you don't often hear about...but something I used to see all the time while living there. Seriously, you just came to accept these hair salons with the frosted glass doors as part of the landscape of the city. What concerns me is many of these girls are uneducated from poor provinces and expose themselves and others to the realities of HIV and STDs.

Ok, we're all adults here...and you and I just can't be friends unless you also have a slightly twisted sense of humor. With that said, this is a hilarious commercial. Gives new meaning to "I'll have what she's having" when it comes to food. LOL. Thanks to Lonnie for always sharing things that cracks me up.
