Asian Girls For Love And Marriage On My Blog

Dear Google,

It's bad enough as it is that bloggers go hungry for the sake of keeping their readers informed. We rely on you to help us cover our hosting fees each month from the clickable pennies we earn from Adsense. Must you add insult to injury by serving up ads on my blog that give my readers the impression that I am pimping mail order brides from Asia? I have a reputation to protect here. Geez.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get to work on a new post on finding love in Chinese KTV bars because apparently whenever these type of ads are served up, I am a few cents closer to buying a new fake gucci bag this month in Shanghai.

Best regards,

Christine Lu

Ah, Google. And, of course, by blogging this and adding those delicious keywords to your website crawl profile, you're likely bound to see that ad even more often... and perhaps others in its contextual neighborhood!

Don't even need the screen shot, they're still here. Too funny.

He he... its very telling that in your screenshot the tag "China Sex" got 405 hits, while "Doing Business in China" only got 224. Still, to be getting that many hits from anything China related merits heaps of kudos!

My own blog has a similar phenomenon, albeit on a smaller scale, where a single post with a picture I tagged "sexy chinese girl" of a poster of a scantily clad model I saw on a kiosk, contrasting it to most people's expectations of China, still draws a lot of hits from google image search. Of course the bounce rate is near 100% when they see what my blog is actually about.

Christine--

I think that you should offer a prize to the first person who finds a Chinese bride from the ads served up by Google. Think of the publicity!

Then try to make more happy couples...
With all their Chinese brides, wouldn't all those western men want to do business with China, putting the China Business Network right at the center of things?

Weren't you just talking about long-term strategy a few days ago?

Hmmm.... Maybe you should start a dating site?
